In addition to the double consecutively numbered guns, they also are complete with one of the originally issued holsters to the guard who carried it. When ordering in quantity, prewar Walther was amenable to marking the guns with company markings as requested. There are 12 known to still exist with these two being the only consecutively numbered guns. Thiel purchased sixty PPKs for their guards who protected three factories in close proximity to Zella-Mehlis. (98/99%) In addition they have consecutive property numbers from Gebruder Thiel (Thiel Brothers) who had a watch factory prior to WWII and employed 5,000 workers at each of three factories during wartime producing timed fuzes for the noses of artillery and AA shells. They are what I like to call collector grade. These are photos of consecutively numbered PPKs of 1935 production. In retrospect it is not fair to highjack someone elses thread so I decided to post a new thread for those who found some "drool factor" in the former. I recently posted photos of a boxed Walther PP on another thread.
